London Climate Action Week 2026
London Climate Action Week (LCAW) is where ideas, partnerships, and action converge — across an entire city and the global climate community. Ambition meets delivery and the connections needed to drive progress at scale are built. This year, IDH will be co-hosting and participating in the following events during LCAW.
Where are we?
On the opening day of London Climate Action Week, IDH and the World Resources Institute will convene a private roundtable for senior leaders to explore whether investing upstream in food systems can deliver stronger risk-adjusted returns than responding to supply disruptions after they occur, and what it would take to make this approach a practical reality.
A key focus of the discussion will be how this perspective aligns with procurement and finance decision-making, as well as the conditions needed to enable greater pre-competitive collaboration among companies to strengthen food system resilience.
Hosted by UK International Development, the ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC), and IDH Invest, this interactive London Climate Action Week (LCAW) event aims to contribute to a more actionable understanding of how to close the persistent gap between available capital and the financing needs of climate-vulnerable food systems.Drawing on experience from blended finance vehicles, DFIs, local financial institutions, and agribusiness partnerships, the discussion will examine how capital structures, risk-sharing approaches, local currency solutions, and technical assistance models can be better aligned with the realities of smallholder agriculture and agrifood SMEs.Participants will gain practical insights into the investment design challenges and financing approaches needed to unlock investment opportunities in climate-resilient domestic and regional food markets in EMDEs. The discussion will be followed by a networking reception.

ISEAL and the Jurisdictional Action Network are hosting a public, half-day event that will bring together investors, practitioners, and sustainability leaders to examine how resilient landscape approaches can create long-term value while addressing systemic sustainability risks.
Through the latest tools, resources, and insights from leading landscape practitioners and partners, the event will provide practical perspectives on landscape-level approaches and their relevance for investors. Participants will also have opportunities to connect with peers, speakers, and panellists throughout the event.
The event will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. Please register for a livestream ticket if you would like to join online.

IDH and Violet will launch a dedicated investment vehicle at an informal, private breakfast meeting to drive systemic change in Brazil’s cattle sector. The fund is designed to mobilise private capital alongside public and blended finance, directing investment towards producers, supply chains, and enabling conditions that deliver measurable climate and nature outcomes.
