Rogier van Adrichem joins IDH Supervisory Board
The organisation also announces the retirement of Richard Goldstein, who has served on the Supervisory Board since May 2018.
10 September 2025 – Rogier van Adrichem, Global Relationship Partner and Lead Audit Partner at PwC Netherlands, has been appointed to the IDH Supervisory Board. He will replace Richard Goldstein, who is retiring from the Board after seven years.
Mr. van Adrichem brings a wealth of experience in auditing financial institutions, having served as a Partner at PwC Netherlands for 23 years. His expertise spans auditing for international financial institutions and advising in the areas of corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. His extensive experience with sustainability statements and initiatives has provided insights into the diverse perspectives and complex challenges surrounding sustainability in global markets.
As I step into this IDH board role, I am thrilled by the opportunity to contribute to an organisation uniquely positioned as a convenor and critical partner in public-private partnerships. IDH has proven that by bringing together the private sector, governments, investors, and communities, markets can be transformed to create social equality and sustainability alongside profitability.

Rogier is welcomed by Chair Magdi Batato, former COO at Nestlé Group, and six other Supervisory Board members. His appointment is expected to further strengthen the Board’s oversight and strategic guidance as IDH continues to drive sustainable market transformation through public-private collaboration.
He will succeed Richard Goldstein, former Partner at PwC Netherlands and now member and vice-president of the University of Amsterdam Executive Board, who has served on the IDH Supervisory Board since 2018.

The IDH Supervisory Board contributes to IDH’s development as a global organisation and systems change agent, and members share their valuable insights and advice for IDH’s mission towards market transformation.
IDH is steered by the Executive Board and Global Management Team, supported and advised by a Supervisory Board and Impact Committee. The Supervisory Board of IDH guards the policy and functioning of the IDH office. It also oversees the principles of IDH, decides on accepting new improvement programs, and consolidates annual plans and reports. The Board comes together four times a year.
