Consultant needed to support the development of the Colombian Palm Oil Sector Decarbonisation Roadmap
IDH, with support from the &Green IDH Technical Assistance Facility, is seeking a consultant to support the development of the Colombian Palm Oil Sector Decarbonisation Roadmap. The assignment will help identify legally and commercially viable decarbonisation pathways for Colombian palm oil mills, assess relevant financing instruments and market benchmark conditions, propose a high-level sectoral MRV approach, and develop a practical financial and economic modelling toolkit to support mill-level investment case preparation.
The consultancy will also assess grower inclusion mechanisms, validate findings through regional workshops, and prepare a sectoral guide to help mills design, model and prepare decarbonisation projects aligned with &Green’s principles, climate objectives and broader sector competitiveness goals.
