Terms of Reference: National Research Partner for NISCOPS 2 Malaysia
The National Initiatives for Sustainable and Climate Smart Oil Palm Smallholders 2 (NISCOPS 2) programme (2024-2028) has been renewed! On 24 September 2024, a Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed between the Governments of Malaysia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to jointly collaborate on the programme. IDH and Solidaridad Network, as co-implementers, will continue to focus on landscape-level sustainability and overall climate resilience of oil palm #smallholders. Together, we foresee a gradual scale-up and take-over of climate-smart practice implementation by public and market actors by developing landscape-level sustainable management plans and climate-forward business cases.
To that end, we are excited to invite a consultant to become the National Research Partner (NRP) to monitor and evaluate impacts, outcomes and lessons that result from the implementation of NISCOPS 2 (2024-2028).
