Fit-for-purpose solutions to address sustainability challenges

Since 2009 our team in India has been addressing the multifaceted challenges of agriculture, environment and socio-economic development in the sub-continent to create more sustainable value chains and landscapes.

By fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including businesses, governments, farmers, and civil society, we are spearheading collaborative efforts to drive transformative changes throughout the value chain.

Working in over 16 states, our work crosses the cotton, tea, spices, palm oil, coffee and apparel sectors to focus on responsible agrochemical use, natural resource management, smallholder inclusion and livelihoods, women empowerment and sustainable manufacturing.

From climate resilience, alternate materials and regenerative production to worker safety and women’s safety, our programs work towards creating positive impact through sustainable solutions that reach landscapes, sustainable manufacturing and agricultural supply chains.

Through our ‘India Markets Initiative’, we promote sustainable practices within local markets while prioritising domestic capacity building, technological innovation and gender inclusivity – catalysing systemic change and contributing to India's holistic development.
