The Learning Launch Pad helps agribusinesses to solve specific technology challenges. In this first Learning Launch Pad IDH brought together 6 experts that helped SpiceUp re-invent their business model and optimize farm data to realize sustainable pepper production in Indonesia. Two concepts were created:
A cooperative-based farming model, in which SpiceUp will train subcontracted farmers (“Ranger”) in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and data logging.
A data exchange platform based on digital tools, which aims to spread GAP and track farm data in direct dialogue with participating farmers.
